Our Research
ELIKO Technology Competence Center has pursued it's research agenda since 2004. Over the time we have successfully carried out various research topics in the domains of Electronics and Information and Communication Technologies supported by both Estonian and European research and innovation support agencies. Today ELIKO Technology Competence Center is mainly focussed on the Enterprise Estonia's Technology Competence Center grant, but also projects administered by the European Comission (FP7, Eurostars etc). ELIKO developed a communication module for an insulin pump
25.11.2011 14:58ELIKO developed a universal wireless alarm transmission module for an insulin pump for children with diabetes. The aim of the developed device is to alarm parents of critical events recorded by the pump (e.g. low insulin, low battery etc) when they are not close by their children, like in the case of sleeping.
