ELIKO had a poster presentation at the 2nd AMA-IEEE Medical Technology Conference
Alar Kuusik, ELIKO's project leader participated AMA-IEEE conference in Boston, October 16-18th, 2011.
The event was promoting novel IT solutions and ideas on how to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare. More than 70 posters were presented during the two days of the conference, followed by several extensive brainstorming sessions on the topics of clinical decision support, US healthcare reform, individualized- and tele-medicine. ELIKO developed a communication module for an insulin pump
25.11.2011 14:58ELIKO developed a universal wireless alarm transmission module for an insulin pump for children with diabetes. The aim of the developed device is to alarm parents of critical events recorded by the pump (e.g. low insulin, low battery etc) when they are not close by their children, like in the case of sleeping.
